Designer Kathleen Sheldon has been in the field of design since 1991 beginning with the fashion industry and government fulfillment.  Throughout her design career she worked with various contractors in California and then in Texas on the customizing of homes interior and exteriors more on the side as a second revenue stream until 2009 she was able to shift her design talents solely into residential remodels and restorations then to include commercial buildout.

In 2017 LJL shifted to separate the two operations where LJ Waters, llc was birthed to handle the residential opportunities. LJ Waters, llc was  formed by a love of history, we enjoy keeping as much of the bones of a structure as we can. Marrying in your personality  and  heritage brings a lovely stately balance of solidarity and sanctuary for our homes after all, are meant to be our castle.

As LJ Waters, llc was birthed, LJL Design, llc continued to be the home of our commercial buildout opportunities where we offer commercial roofing as well as interior buildout and assembly.

Communication is key. We're here for whatever you  need be it storm damage to straight remodel inside or out. We'll help you solidify your vision or offer a new  design aesthetic to suit your home, property and personal style. Researching heritage is another way we incorporate new design into your surroundings and the perfect balance of melding elements for the perfect sanctuary to welcome you home.  

Pairing the right elements require the upmost design attention. Many of our designs offered to our clientele have not been seen. It is imperative to not only see a vision of beauty but to implement it within cost. We take all factors into logical perspective and engineer the elements accordingly thus creating a new vision of beauty and uniqueness adding value far above the basic remodel.

With each home we offer exclusive attention in the design process. Our design ability extends to country of origin if seeking influence from your heritage. We  design and create or import items needed to complete your new personalization in your home.  

If your home was damaged in storms, we also  work with your insurance adjusters on making sure nothing was overlooked that you receive the best value for the investment made.
